Suicide is one of the most common yet serious concerns, and a worldwide subject that individuals have debated from past to present. Suicidal ideation affects disrupts functionality human being regardless age, gender, ethnicity, or even religion. This article aims discuss suicide in general an Islamic perspective specific, as research has shown Islamically oriented approach intervention works better with Muslim population general. The paper also broader view how Islam categorized classically its modern implications, which lets us explore similarities, differences between different religions about related mental health concerns. A collection both classic sources was used extract information provide scope definitions clarify religiosity concerning teachings opinion meaning life, afterlife, soul. It found showed lower rate comparison other religions, religious faster recovery suicidal ideation. Yet, Muslims are not immune conditions would result suicide. Therefore, further studies need be conducted understand huge stigma around communities, compare effectiveness among non-religious Muslims, lastly fill gap why tends hesitant seeking help regarding their psychological problems.
